The Temescal Market Bag

“Where did you get that bag?”

This has been the most common cry as I have toted the Temescal Market Bag around town. Now, you too can have one of your very own. Petra Johnson, the felting queen, adapted this pattern, so that it is perfect for the market, for your books, as a knitting bag, and for just about any function you care to name!

It is an immensely satisfying project because as Petra is fond of saying, “felting is a very forgiving medium”. Warning: People will try to steal this bag from you.

Extra! Extra! Petra is designing a pouch to attach to the handles so that you don’t have to rummage around for your wallet. What a clever idea!
