The magic of felting

I was lucky when I was a child because I don't remember my mother ruining a beloved sweater! (Well there are other reasons I was lucky too, but I won't bore you with those) Maybe it is because of this lack of childhood trauma, that I am so enchanted by the felting process. The Temescal Bag class ended a few weeks ago and it was thrilling to toss the bags into the washing machine looking one way and then fishing them out looking completely different. It is magical. Really magical. For those of you who are equally enchanted by the process or who have never tried felting, sign up for the Heavenly Hat ---a felted hat class with Tammy Ms Punkrawkpurl herself. For the felting faint of heart: Note: We felt the items for you here at knit-one-one. What service! Can you all see the photo of Janice with her Temescal Bag and modeling the Heavenly Hat? Janice is one of those people who says she "can't" wear a hat. See the hat looks great on her, right? I told you that the Heavenly Hat looks good on everyone!

I am impressed that your mother never accidentally felted a sweater. Not even a wool sock huh?
I am so excited for the heavenly hat class. it really is true, everyone looks good in it. I challenge the one who dares to look bad in it!
