cute kid stuff and ruby's garden

Our Kate has many jobs, one of which is working at Ruby's Garden Where you may ask? Read on.
Ruby's Garden is an incredibly cool store with all kinds of mouthwatering clothes, gizmos, flowers and other neat stuff for mainly kids---- but the grownups are not forgotten either.
Tammy for example bought a great pair of tights there---next time you are in Article Pract ask her to show them to you! And I bought those great socks in the picture---they fit very nicely into the knit-one-one decor so next time you are at a class, maybe you will see them pinned to the wall or some such! And look at the cute little suitcase. Emily has got me hooked on such items and I just couldn't resist this one. But I really lucked out, because Mae (one of the wonderful owners--- the other is Mary!) gave me this one as a gift. Lucky me. The little jumper/tunic/dress is for my niece, Riona, also purchased at Ruby's.
Now if the above description wasn't enough to make you want to rush to Ruby's, here is another incentive! Mae is a knitter and so if you go by Ruby's, you can pick up a gift certificate for 15% off the Knockout Knits for Babies class taught by-----you guessed it, Ms Kate herself. That girl is everywhere! The teddy is wearing some of the clothes you will be knitting. And the blanket is also on the menu!

Oooooh, I want that lunch box! ; ) It's true that people often overlook children's stores (especially hip ones where Kate works!!) for excellent crafts goodies like containers… I'll have to head on over and check it out!
Sile - I'm a friend of the owner/founder of "little miss match", the sock guy. let me know if you want any kind of hook-up or connection with him, for business or pleasure. he's currently based out of NYC. (sm)
