Lace, Socks, Temescal Market, Irish Coffee

Last night we had another wonderful sock class with Ms. Yarn-a-go-go . There was much laughter and concentration as lace was made and heels were turned. By the end all heels were turned despite the drinking of Irish Coffee by all except Jennifer Z who had to go back to her lab. Personally I think some Irish Coffee would have improved her experiment but maybe that's just me!

For those of you who missed the sock lace class or should that be the lace sock class (?), you should check out Ms Punkrawkpurl's class on the lace scarf.

A few weeks ago, in order to publicize the Sammie Sweater Class, Kate, Kofi, Sammie and I went to the Temescal Farmers' Market. We were joined by Robin, and Ms Punkrawkpurl herself and we had a swell time. It turned out that between us, Kate and I knew about half the people at the Farmers Market! And because I know that you will ask: Kate is working on another Sammie sweater, Robin is finishing a sweater, Ms Punkrawkpurl is creating another version of the
Heavenly Hat and I am wrestling with a thin linen and silk yarn from Habu which may or may not end up as a bag.

Hello Sile -

Wow, I am very honored. I love you site and very much looking forward to visiting your shop and hopefully fitting in a class or two while I am in the States in July. Thanks for the support of Fetching, by the way. All I can say is, "urgh!"
