Yarn boy teaches writing

Just a short post to let you know that our friend Jesse L, knit-one-one instructor, aka yarn boy (although he has retired from blog writing for now) is teaching some fabulous classes this summer. And no alas, they are not knitting classes but they are great anyway! Some of you may have heard Jesse's commentaries on KQED's perspective series. Now Jesse will teach you how you too can create a great piece for the perspective series. As many of you know, Jesse is a terrific teacher---clear, patient, encouraging and humorous.

His other class this summer is a poetry class. Doesn't that sound as if it would fit so naturally with knitting? Well I think it does anyhow. Imagine yourself reading poetry, doing a little knitting, writing a poem or two, doing a little knitting, discussing poetry followed by a little...........Actually Jesse never mentioned the knitting part to me but I can't imagine that he would object! (If he does, let me know!)
