Yarn-a-go-go comes to town (that would be Emeryville!)
Yarn-a-go-go, aka run-a-go-go, aka Rachael is making the long trek from Oakland to Emeryville to teach a class at knit-one-one---yeay! (For those non Bay Area readers, this is a mere 5 miles or so) As readers of her blog know, she always has a pair of socks on the go (no pun intended) and so socks seemed like a natural. The design she whipped up for this class has a lovely lace pattern---very suitable for a Spring sock don't you think? Many of you have asked how I managed to get yarn-a-go to teach a class. And of course it all happened because of blogs. Stephen of Hizknits fame and I are both lovers of the water, dogs and of course knitting so he and I had been in touch. He mentioned that I should check out yarn-a-go-go. Almost simultaneously I was reading Rebecca's blog in which yarn-a-go-go featured. I immediately hit the yarn-a-go-go link and was enchanted by her style and the fabulous range of her knitted goodies. So I e-mailed her. We met, we talked,we ate, and we laughed and the next thing you know we are taking pictures for the site and planning the class.
It begins in a week and I can't wait.
Want a sneak peak? Check these cuties out, and check the class out too!
