An Earth Day Celebration: The Target Tote
aka Idea #11 of How to Re-use a Target Bag

Come celebrate Earth Day by doing something that is both good for the environment and fun for you!

Julie Weisenberger of Cocoknits has created a pattern in which you make a fabulous tote out of recycled Target Bags, or you could use Ikea bags, or you could use..........You get the idea.

Julie took about 25 Target bags, cut them up and created this quirky, fun, functional bag. I mean you never have to worry about spilled juice again – just run the bag under the tap.

And for you swimmers out there, wouldn’t it make the perfect swim bag? It is the perfect beach bag too. Make this bag and I guarantee you will never be short of a conversation starter again. Plus it is super cute and think about it – you are helping the environment too!

“The Sunday classes I took at knit-one-one were delightful. As soon as we arrived, we were served coffee and soda bread. Later we had cheese, bread and fruit. During all this we were learning, laughing and socializing. I learned how to knit and I am hooked! I will definitely be back.”

– Susan, graduate of the Beginning Knitting class
