We
also call this the "One
Evening, Evening Bag" because really
truly you can make it in one evening – if
of course you apply yourself! It is a fabulous
first project for those of you wanting to
tackle knitting in the round.
For the knitting pros
among you, it is a stylish, fun, project
to make for yourself, your family, your friends...
actually come to think of it, you can make
it for everyone you know!
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
You will need to know how to cast on and off, and knit. You will learn how
to knit in the round, make a buttonhole, make a slit handle and cast on and
off in the middle of a row.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
• One skein of Lamb’s Pride Bulky yarn
• Size 15, 24” circular needles
• Stitch markers
• A tapestry needle
• The book One Skein by Leigh Radford, available at Article
Pract and Amazon.
Note: At knit-one-one, we normally don’t ask students to buy a book.
However, this book is so fabulous that we are confident you will use it over
and over. It will be dog eared in no time. |
