HARRY THE FELTED HEDGEHOG

Get in on the latest felted animal craze and learn lots of new techniques at the same time. Everybody, young and old loves these creatures. Give them as gifts or keep as soft sculptures for your home.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
This class is advanced beginner level. You should be comfortable casting on and off, knitting and purling, increasing and decreasing. You will learn how to do short row shaping, pick up stitches and how to slip,slip,knit

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
• 180 yards worsted feltable yarn (in other words it should be 100% wool)
• 100 yards novelty fun fur (for the hedgehog’s spikes aka hair)
• Size 10.5, 24” circular needle
• One stitch marker (the locking kind)
• One row counter (not necessary but very useful)

 

INSTRUCTOR: Kate Freeman

DATE: Fridays, November 10 AND Friday November 17

TIME: 7:00 – 9:00 pm (2 classes, 4 hours)
