Q: Where is knit-one-one located?
A: knit-one-one is located at 3360 Adeline Street, Berkeley, California (just south of Alcatraz, and a few doors down from Sweet Adeline Bakeshop.
Q: Why don’t I see hours of operation posted?
A: knit-one-one is not a store. We offer classes, sales, and events. Please visit our calendar for our current schedule!
Q: Do you sell craft supplies?
A: No but we have craft sales on the first Saturday of every month.

Q: Where do you recommend that I purchase my supplies?
A: Article Pract, Stash, K2Tog for yarny stuff. Piedmont Fabric for fabric …duh. And of course you can check online too.
Q: Are there any craft books you particularly recommend?
A: Well what I love changes frequently. My current favorite is One Skein by Leigh Radford.
Q: How do I get regular updates on your offerings?
A: Join our mailing list to receive our quarterly schedule by email, and you’ll never miss another class again! At knit-one-one, we believe brevity is best. You won’t be bombed by useless emails and of course, we never, EVER, give your email out to anyone else. ; )

A: Why YES we do! FInd them here!
Q: What if I need to cancel a class I’ve already booked?
A: If you are not able to attend a class, please notify us A.S.A.P. Our cancellation policy is here. To cancel, give us a ring at 510. 891. 1355 or email us at knitoneone@gmail.com
Q: What if you cancel a class?
A: Although we anticipate full registration for all classes, we reserve the right to cancel a class if enrollment is poor. Under this circumstance, your fee will be refunded in full.
Q: What if I am not sure I know enough to take a class?
A: Please phone us at 510. 891.1355 or email us. We will be happy to talk to you and help you decide. And don’t be shy. We don’t bite!
Q: What do the various knitting levels mean?
Beginner:
You have watched all your friends and family knit and you have gazed at them with longing and admiration. Now you want to try your hand at it yourself. Please sign up. You are ready!Advanced Beginner:
You have completed some projects, but are still learning. You may even have some unfinished projects lying around the house. And a class would be the perfect shot in the arm to get you going on them again. You know the basics: cast on, bind off, knit, purl, and perhaps even how to increase & decrease.Intermediate:
You have made several garments or other projects. You have some experience working in different stitch patterns, can read a written pattern, and are familiar with garment shaping. But you are ready to learn color work and other more advanced techniques.Advanced:
You have made garments or other projects. You are familiar with various stitch patterns, and are comfortable adapting patterns. You want the energy of a class to get you launched on new ideas and techniques.

A: We always serve the famous knit-one-one shortbread and depending on the class, other mouth watering snacks
